We tried to find an RV site in Vancouver but everything was full because of Labor Day. We paid for another day in Squamish and drove into Vancouver. We went to the very pretty Stanley Park. This is a huge city park. We drove the loop road and stopped at totem poles, the lighthouse, prospect point, the mermaid on a rock and took a picture of the Lions Gate Bridge that we just drove over. We didn't visit the aquarium but we did go to Klahowya Village and saw native dancers. There are seven brewpubs in the vicinity and we went to three of them. On the way out of the Grandville Island area a bicyclist going in the opposite direction lost some money. I jumped out and started yelling at him but he didn't turn around. I picked up the money from the middle of the road, people had to stop for me, and we turned around and chased him down. He had dropped $120.00!! He couldn't believe we gave it back. We got gas and drove back to Squamish and had dinner at the restaurant by the RV park. Jim had some Canadian money he wanted to use up and it was just the right amount.

Jim's computer no longer works. We will try to post words at the local libraries we pass and put pictures on after we return home.
