We left Atlin and drove to Big Creek Government campground just west of Watson Lake. It was cloudy when we got up but it turned out to be partly sunny later. We had a fire again at camp, all of the Canadian Government camps seem to furnish wood for free. This is because they cut down dead trees killed by the Spruce beetles. We had several Gray Jays visit us -- they weren't afraid and would eat bread out of our hands. One little squirrel joined in and would take almonds. He even crawled up on my knee from the picnic table. We got a site right by the creek.
