While yesterday was clear and sunny, today it was cloudy and rained all afternoon. Jim changed in oil in our Honda generator and made a foam rubber plug to keep water from escaping through the Casita's fresh water tank vent hole when we are travelling. We went to the Twister Creek Restaurant (connected to Denali Brewing) and had breakfast burritos with a great spicy aioli sauce. Then we washed our dirty clothes at the RV park we stayed at on Thursday. Then we went to the West Rib Bar, Twister Creek, and Fairview Inn and had beers. The Fairview Inn was built in 1923 and had Talkeetna's first bath tub. The town passed a ruling in 2003 that no structure in the historic district can be taller than the Fairview Inn.
