Jim fixed all of us pancakes this morning and we had sausage to go with them. We stayed around camp all day and Phil mowed the overgrown grass and weeds with his weed whacker. Phil connected his electricity which had just been installed. Hooray -- no need for a generator! In the afternoon, Phil and Jim went to the Anchor River to try a little fishing. Phil caught two Dolly Vardens and a large Silver Salmon on a trout hook and fought with it for several minutes before losing it. I went for a walk and saw three Sandhill Cranes in the clearing just in front of their land. Afterwards Mary, Jake and I played Phase 10 Dice. Mary and I played horseshoes and Mary and Jake played badminton. We saw the eagle again today. We had a roaring fire and stayed up till 1 a.m.
